Frontpage Settings

This page allows you to choose which page will be displayed as Frontpage.

The Frontpage is the Homepage, which is the page that you see when you click on the Website Name, and is the "root" page of your website.

The frontpage is the page that you see when you point your browser to a website's root path such as http://www.themechef.com/

You have the option of selecting a specific page as your frontpage, whether that is a gallery, a blog, or a normal page.

To do this, select the page you would like to display as Frontpage from the drop-down menu, and save it by pressing the Save button.

Note that, in the options list, the items in bold are category Identifiers and cannot be selected. For instance, if you have created 3 normal Pages, you will see something like:

   Page Title 1

   Page Title 2

   Page Title 3

The item in Bold text is the Category Identifier and cannot be selected. The pages nested below it, however, are the ones that can be selected.
