Content Blocks

Think of content Blocks as boxes that can be placed in around your website.

Depending on the template that you choose, you can have content blocks above the main content, under it, over the footer, on the right sidebar, left sidebar, on the header, you name it!

Content Blocks are blocks of text and images or whatever you can think of! Managing them is as easy as the rest of the content Items.

In the block management page, there is a list of the currently existing blocks for your website. Clicking the addition button will allow you to add a new block, while deleting and editing them is easy and familiar to you since it follows the rest of the CWAP philosophy.

Adding new Content Block

Click on the addition icon () and the "new block" pop-up dialog will open. You need to enter the following data for a new block:

• Title - the block title (can be blank)
• Body - the main content of the block
• Position - the position that this block will be placed on
• Weight - whether to show above or below other blocks placed on the same position

Note that you can "disable" a block by selecting Position:None. That will prevent it from showing up on your website.

To save the block, click on "save" button, or close the dialog to cancel.

Editing Content Block

Clicking on the edit icon () of each listed Content Block, will bring up the block edit dialog. The data of the selected block will already be inserted in the appropriate input areas.

To save your changes, click on the "save" button, or close the dialog to discard them.

Deleting Content Block

To delete a content block, click on it's respective deletion icon (). After confirming your choice, the system will delete the block.

Massively Deleting Blocks

To massively delete content blocks, either select the ones that need to be deleted by their respective checkboxes, or select them all using the top left checkbox on the table header.

After selecting blocks, click on the trash icon () to delete them. You will be asked to confirm this choice before deletion.
