Blog Manager

If the blog module has been selected for your website, you will be able to create and manage your own Blog!

The blog manager is as easy as it can get, and helps you manage your blogs, news, announcements etc.

The main blog manager page displays the blog items list, that you should be familiar with by now, and also, at the top, there is a small form.

The latter stores some basic data about your blog. It can be left empty if you just want to list the newest posts, or you can provide a title and description for your blog.

Note: to edit the description of the blog, click on its text input field.

Adding new Blog Item

To add a new Blog item, click on the addition icon () to open the "new blog item" dialog pop-up.

Simply fill in the Title and Body of your post, and save by clicking the "save" button.

NOTE: The blog list page, displays the blogs in post order, but trims them to around 600 characters. If you would like to specify the "teaser" length manually, click on the pagebreak icon to add a pagebreak.

The system will display the blog item untill it reaches that page break.

Editing existing Blog Item

Clicking on the edit icon () of each blog item, respectively, will bring up its editing dialog. After you have made your changes, you can save them by clicking "save" or discard them by closing the dialog.

Deleting existing Blog Item

To delete an existing Blog Item, click on its respective deletion icon (). After confirmation of your choice, the system will delete the selected post.

Massively Deleting existing Blog Item

Select the existing blog posts that you wish to delete by either clicking their selection checkbox or using the "select all" checkbox. When the posts are selected, click on the trash icon () to proceed. After confirmation of your choice, the system will delete the selected posts.
